My family is unique and my father, mother, and brother all have special qualities that make them special and yet sometimes funny.
My Mother, the fashion plate, I like to refer to, is my teacher and mentor. She teaches me to be me and to fight for what i want and deserve. My mother is beautiful both inside and out and I love her for all she is worth. I call her the fashion plate because she always knows the latest fashions and trends. She never wears an outfit more than once and she is the coolest, most hippest woman I know. I am lucky to have a mother like I do because she is there through thick and thin. She gives me the best advice and I can tell her anything. She never jusdges me she just tells me when I am not thinking right.
My father, a leader, is an intellectual man who works very hard for the things he has. He always told me to get the work done and then play later. I talk to my father about everything as well and he always tells me the truth even when I do not want to hear the truth. He supports me in all I do and like my mother, I am blessed to be able to call him father. He too believes in me and he helps me in all I do. He gives me help in basketball, with realtionships, and with life in general. He inspires me to work hard for what i want and to never give up.
My brother, is going through the cool stage in his life at fourteen right now and it kind of bothers me. I will talk to him on the phone and he never talks back. He always answers with, "ummm...yea", or "hmmm," and what I always seem to hear is, "nothing is going on." But truly my brother is the one of the funniest people I know and with his dull humor he can make me laugh at any second. He teaches me patience by the way nothing ever seems to bother him. He is a great brother who I know looks up to me but I look up to him as well because of how smart he is at such a young age.
I am lucky to have the family I have. I can trust them, I know they always will be there for me, and I can tell them anything. They teach me each and everyday to be myself and to stand up for myself. They always tell me to believe in myself too because I have the qualities to do whatever I want to do in life. They are the most loving and caring people I know and they would do anything for anybody and not only me. My family is always there through the good times and bad and support me in all I do. When basketball is kicking my butt they tell me to work harder and keep on working because it will all pay off. When school is overwhelming, they let me know everything will be alright and eventually everything will work out. They help me when I am upset by telling me I am the greatest and that I will be ok. We laugh, cry, argue, and are silent with eachother, but we always seem to have a good time by just being together. They help me to become a better person each and everyday because they are my rolemodels who never do wrong in my eyes. They have become my friends since I have been away for a year and I LOVE THEM!
